Because this past chapter is not in the story but they, for some reason, didn't change her presense as well. Now it doesn't make any sense.uuh so she really was just chilling back there and didn't even try to help when the lil sis was about to be murdered
Yeahh this has started to stink the last 30 ish chapters, the mc is getting no character building but they're throwing all these other characters inI genuinely stopped reading isekai for so long but am I tripping that this manga has like exponentially gotten worse which started as soon as the MC found the other player. Like there's just so much baffling stupidity I don't even know where to begin I legit just skimmed
Yeah like I guess maybe the mangaka wants to be different and change the original source by making it less of a power isekai but introducing new characters and having your mc do absolutely nothing for the sake of "don't change the story" is terrible. The worse part is that the mangaka isn't doing anything new or different since either mangaka keeps with mc being dumb as hell or the generic "aha" moment for isekai mcs happens.Yeahh this has started to stink the last 30 ish chapters, the mc is getting no character building but they're throwing all these other characters in
it's from the same author and artist of the novel. i think the author want every medium have different story or it's another case of publisher meddling....Yeah like I guess maybe the mangaka wants to be different and change the original source by making it less of a power isekai but introducing new characters and having your mc do absolutely nothing for the sake of "don't change the story" is terrible. The MC doesn't fail, it's just that it's a bit similar to Leon with Mobuseka. In the Mobuseka Leon wants to follow up the story, but things always go sour and when the events are almost certain to go to a bad ending he decides to interfere and save the day.I really don't know what kind of story the author wants to write. It feels like the author wants to paint us a story of pathetic struggling cause it really is just constant L's after L's after every major plot point even when they get a "win". Like I get people love underdog stories but it doesn't feel very meaningful when we have the MC's side pulling his own feats.
I guess my complaint is the established pattern is the hero's party will forever doomed to be underdogging and failing at their major plot point only to be saved by random bullshit
Yeah still not feeling it, I feel like others of this same genre is done much better. This one just feels like the authors coming up with ways to intentionally make it frustrating, but hey to each their own.The MC doesn't fail, it's just that it's a bit similar to Leon with Mobuseka. Here MC(Souta) actions area always justified later, here we can see he was right to not standing out because Tsukishima is sabotaging class E for reasons unknown (he interfered with Kariya and Suou) and he would be targeted if he decided to help them.
So what happens is that as opposed to Mobuseka, the heroines who are close to Souta who ends up saving the day. Here Imouto decided to help class E without her brother's permission and that attitude saved his classmates. (who knows what would have happened to the main heroines Kaoru and Sakurako, it's obvious they would get raped by that fatso).
So in short, Leon from Mobuseka resolves things directly while Souta solves the problems indirectly.
Here, Class E is going to lose but Souta manages to defeat that Giant Devil, but he gives it's magic stone to Tenma, he does this to not stand out, and also he thinks that losing the competition makes no difference to the story.
However, Tenma delivers the magic stone to the teachers and tell them it belongs to class E. Giving them enough points to win over Class D.
Because of this victory, it ends up lifting everyone's spirits, including Kaoru's who was looking sad and hopeless.
From here on, she changes her opinion of him definitively and acknowledges he's strong, but also she finds out he's hiding several things from her and she's now determined to find out the truth about him.
Also, in the novel, she no longer wants to cancel her marriage contract with him and instead feels a bit lonely without him (he's been constantly avoiding her despite several invitations to dive in the dungeon and spar together.)
Sooo, the actual difference between mobuseka is that this MC just got lucky things going in his favor? So in short, Leon from Mobuseka resolves things directly while Souta solves the problems indirectly.

That's what it looks like to me, Luck and the heroines forcing him out of his passive behavior.Sooo, the actual difference between mobuseka is that this MC just got lucky things going in his favor?
Comparing MC to Leon is doing Leon a huge disservice, Leon from the onset takes actions to set himself up so he won't get trampled by the rules of the world, the woman centric culture. He also takes advantage of game knowledge to ensure he has enough wealth and military might to decide what he wants to do going forward. The MC doesn't fail, [sic]
No, if you read in the beginning he's quite happy with that lifestyle. Until Zola wants to marry him off to an ugly noblewoman to have him killed off and get pension money.Comparing MC to Leon is doing Leon a huge disservice, Leon from the onset takes actions to set himself up so he won't get trampled by the rules of the world, the woman centric culture. The issues with this MC are one, they seem to be vaguely having the original character meld into his mindset but it's also vague since that shouldn't be happening outside of certain moments. He also is trying to keep on track with a story that leads to his own destruction, he's also changed things but isn't then thinking hm I might as well not be a cuck at all times except for when the Author wants something he thinks is cool to happen.
