I just hate how this setup is just made to make class e the weak pieces of trash that can literally be killed. Like I get that they are supposed to be the underdogs, but I just hate how these types of mangas make seemingly impossible challenges for the MC's, just for them to wiggle themself out of it by plot/luck/power of friendship. Like please LN readers. Please tell me that the class b chick or atleast class d mfs get some punshment in the near future. (Sorry about the rant)

I'd imagine the proper reaction would be bewilderment on the fact that they somehow won 4th place despite being DQ'd, but they immediately erupted into celebration. :wtf:

What were they celebrating for? Getting hard-carried? MC carried more animals than Noah's ark during these last few chapters.

Because that's the trend of this series.
They were going to lose, which would lead to class E students dropping out and game over. (at least according to MC's vision).
But Tenma being the best heroine she is, decided to register the boss magic stone as belonging to class E.
Which gave them enough points to win over class D.
Basically, Souta didn't want to win, but Tenma made him win anyway.

But he still managed to stay under the radar because of prejudice towards class E and the fact he's a fatty lvl 3.
We got like 1 and a half chapters to actually see our MC do something and then we get cucked out of the celebration of it. I can see why NTR is so huge in Japan with this writing.

MCs mentality has not made sense and can't even be retroactively justified.

Kinda obvious the next arc is gonna be NTR bait. Tsukishima is now actively hitting on her and trying to woo her with a show of strength, I wonder how the manga is going to adapt that.

She's gonna change her mind about cancelling the engagement thing when he see him
In the novels she does, her bio no longer shows her willing to break that engagement off...
The engagement thing doesn't exist in the manga, she realized in chapter 3 that the "magical contract" has no penalties.
Also in the game, if the player manages to get good results in the class competition, he raises all the heroine's affection levels towards him. So since Souta did an outstanding job, it is kinda in lore that she will start seeing him in a different light. And the heroines are kinda gold diggers who can be easily be conquered by showing strength.
Which explain why Kuga, Kirara, Tenma and Satsuki are charmed by him.

Bruh, she still thinks the contract is true though

Bruh, she still thinks the contract is true though
Only in the Novels, there are several parts where she's disappointed for not being able to locate the contract and destroy it due to them being distant.
But that changes after the class competition, she begins to feel lonely without him and starts hounding him to dive together and even invited him to join her party. Yuuma also asks him to join them too.
Tachigi has a positive opinion of him as opposed to the beginning, and Sanjo no longer is against the idea of him being in the party.

Bro she didnt do shit wtf
The fuck did Kaoru do again?
Yeah, that was annoying as shit, but a lot of this story is.
Butao and the other 2 got to the deepest floor and got the best magic crystal by themselves. Kaoru and the rest of the class could have died in a fire and the results wouldn't have changed.

Also it was a mistranslation on page 17, it should be "the reason we beat class D, is undoubtedly because of you."

A bit off topic to the current chapter; however, for the longest time, I've been wondering if anyone else feels like this game makes no sense. Obviously, you can create your character and raid, so I thought it was like Monster Hunter, but now it has an actual named male protagonist with a bog-standard romance visual novel. And now it's trying to tackle politics and classism. It makes no sense, so when they create their character, does the game still treat them as though they're Yuuma? It said there's a female route, but we haven't seen the female protagonist yet. If Yuuma is the male one, I'm so confused how this game was so popular when it's clear as day it doesn't know what genre it wants to be.
