71 chapters in and it's all the same shit.
God I can't stand these types of stories. This stupid bullshit where the mc gets sent into a book or game and forces themself to just be a standby dummy because they just assume that any little thing they do to affect the original plot will somehow cause the world to spontaneously blow up. What the fuck is even the point of them being there then if they don't do anything when it matters? Why am I just reading the plot of some made up game or story book where the supposed main character just happens to be there?
And his reasoning makes even less sense in this case because he's aware that there are other transmigrators already messing with things behind the scenes anyway. Like what is the point of the mc's existence if he just lets people get treated unfairly, bullied and straight up attacked without doing anything because "I don't want to stand out"? He's not even discreetly helping his classmates to get stronger, he's just there to be there.

This man scuba geared up & dove DEEP DEEP into the Sunk Cost Fallacy. Choosing the worse option NOW bc it's in line w/ decisions you've made previously (that you know in hindsight probably weren't the best choices!) is getting into that "definition of insanity" territory...

I read ahead too, but Tsukishima doesn't get defeated by him though? He beats up the lackeys(or might be the classmates) and he acts just like the original game protag did to woo Kaoru but the MC jumps in cause he finally has some balls but Tsukishima just leaves without fighting.
What he is talking about is from the WN not the manga. Later on he straight up challanges the council to a fight in the arena. That's where MC finally fights and beats him (still in disguise mind you). He continues to act like a mob after that as well so nothing really changes. He just forces Tsukisima to back down so his retarded "let the plot happen" stance can hold even though it went to shit long ago and major world powers are already moving WAY out of the plot of the game.

The writing is so damn ass, so boring at points. The rigid "logic" the protagonist uses isn't logical at all. Trying to stick to a narrative that's already greatly deviated from the original is pointless. It's lazy writing that doesn't appreciate the intellect of the reader.
