Tbh i agree with part of both sides of the argument. Hoobeom simply didnt sugarcoat his words, but it can easily be interpreted as cold and distant towards suah relative to how she tried get over the past by asking him about it.
The way she went about it wasnt the greatest, but i think its respectable that she tried. The fact she brought up during her tattoo session wasnt quite appropriate (TPO: time, place, location), but at the same time, she knows she doesnt have a reason ti meet him outside of this tattoo process. She probably couldve talked about it after the whole 5 hour process, but its really easy for emotions to cloud our judgement in the moment.
While im personally not a fan of both suah and hoobeom's actions, i can understand why they act the way they do. Its not easy knowing how to deal worh your emotions and with the important people in your life when you dont have an objective/overarching view of the story as a reader would
