Web comics ratings are 100% botted.

@pandascepter I haven't actually read that many webcomics, so in truth I'm just talking about Tower of God on the site Webtoons. It's not "horrible", in my opinion, but I have a hard time believing that 99.9% of everyone who's ever read it thinks it's perfect.

i know SL exist after it had like 20 or 30 chish, but i have never ever even once read that comic.

you know that webtoon has a bot to remove negative comment and a bot that send you a message to give an opinion on the webtoon, right?

or was it just the author can remove some comments???? 🤔🤔🤔 though, i'm still suspicious about webtoon having a bot.

also webcomic ratings arent botted, its just because the hype and shit. Probably like me when my friend told me about DICE, i was like, "holy shit, thats cool af." and then when i read it, its 9/10 from me at first but ended up 7/10. 😂😂

@Pandascepter Hmm... I suspected botting, but I hadn't considered it as a real possibility, if that makes sense.

I doubt that an author of any sub-decent work of art would personally remove negative comments, unless that author is Gregory James Daniel.

That makes sense. A predominantly younger audience is going to result in predominantly positive comments (or in some cases negative, but rarely critical in a constructive sense). Fresh eyes, both literal and figurative, are going to be seeing many things for the first time. Much of what others consider to be amazing that we don't we only don't because we've seen them several hundred times already.

If yes , then you are right.. their comic are mostly trash but get a high rating on the apps
