Indeed.

But also it's kind of weird anyway. Isn't this guy like the manager for what seems to be this webtoon's T1 equivalent? At the very least Sirin seems to be something close to being like their Faker since she was noted as the 'most popular player in the world' or whatever. It doesn't seem like he got screwed perpetually and ended up in a pretty good spot regardless.

Maybe he was just unhappy with his pay.

Its not ironic, he meant fighting in a competition
Not outright committing crimes and doing illegal and immoral actions

Ok, not in the truest sense of irony given these very different circumstances but the manager was put in as he described a "you have to take care of yourself" scenario. Very cynical. He became pretty selfish and fought dirty in his position, which parallels Jung Ah's case but is much more extreme.

To that one commenter that say that the manager ended up in a good position anyway, from what I understand he ended up in a slump up until he started committing crimes. It was only when he started doing that that he is no longer stuck in a bad position.

Frankly, he should've just ignored 'being loyal to the company'. I do pity him, but that is his mistake
