That's the point; it's making fun of all the novel and manga/webtoon readers who constantly call the MC's beta and criticize every little action while talking about how they'd do better. Even though everybody knows if they really were the protagonist of any of these stories, they'd be a stuttering mess in the first tense situation or dead within the first chapter.

Well, not surprised about a Steins Gate reference in a time travel webtoon.
I wonder if these guys who wanted to go eating with her are the ones getting her killed or it was someone totally different. Maybe the stalker also traveled into this special timeline the MC is in (however this works making a WT char real) or has another goal to get rid of her, or maybe it was just an accident. MC in the Webtoon seemed to have fought a guy, but maybe its another person this time. Maybe even the girl from his club, that seems to have a crush on him. Blond MC was crying when she fell on the char, so she may have known this person doing this. But ofc this could also happened when she was falling or when she realized the danger she was in.

And yeah, OBVIOUSLY the friend (dunno wanna scroll to search for name) is getting called for verification. ^^ THat was no surprise.

Btw some Melodic DM bands also girls may like: Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, Amorphis, Before the Dawn. But yeah, havent met that many in my life time. Maybe some oldschool Metalcore like Killswitch Engage or Atreyu first.
