That's the point; it's making fun of all the novel and manga/webtoon readers who constantly call the MC's beta and criticize every little action while talking about how they'd do better. Even though everybody knows if they really were the protagonist of any of these stories, they'd be a stuttering mess in the first tense situation or dead within the first chapter.
