I feel like it hasn't been properly expressed enough just how awful the author of ESW is for not resolving this and just letting it happen to the character behind the scenes after the character gets introduced just because she's "fictional." Really elevates what was already a pretty amazing story to a genuine think-piece on the tendency of people/society/etc to gloss over the darker sides of the entertainment industry to preserve the "entertaining" nature of it all.

Like I know one of the main themes is things or personalities that happened behind the scenes that the webtoon didn't cover but this is a whole other level of messed up. Kang Lim is definitely about to have a totally justified crash-out over this; if he didn't despise the author before he definitely does now. Ready for the ride.
