What is up with this girl? I feel like this is just a confusing situation for everyone and she's handeling her emotions in the worst possible way. Her crush comes back as this "individual" and both MC and her are confused by this. For the MC its confusing because girls and boys are different in many ways so when a boy is dressed like this and probably sounds like a girl I assume that its fucking with him. Especally since this person understands him better than anyone else and that alone builds a strong bond. As for the girl she's haboring feelings for both of her friends which is blinding her to the fact that she's causing a massive ripple.

With every passing chapter Mitani fr becomes more and more unhinged while Kei becomes...more mellowed out, I guess? It's very interesting how gender roles and "what a mas should be like" comes into play with every character's psyche, and I find it so interesting that while Mitani doesn't even like Yo, she's unwilling to accept that he's more attracted to Kei than he was to her ]

Poor yo. Realizing the girl you idolized is actually a human being capable of flaws and insecurities is a humanizing experience every boy had to go through.

It is very obvious that Mitani is having a hard time coping with the fact that the person she liked doesn't like her, but instead likes the person she curbed and tried to interject in there relationship.
Even worse, now that she and yo have separated, seeing him be happy and even make friends with other girls is further triggering her insecurities.
