All of you people shouting about isekai… Yeah, because elves exist in real life. >_> Besides, they're only in the isekai world for as long as they sleep. So me thinks it's a good balance between isekai and real world for them. Elf knows more about the isekai, while human knows more about our world, they're complementing each other well.

@phil777 to be fair, one of my friends has ears that go towards the longer style without any cosplay. It's not true elves, but there's reason to believe evolution (or genetic modification/manipulation) could be used to go that route
