I must be one of those odd people who do not want to go back to being a kid.

Being an adult, I have more freedom to do what I like and have money to spend on what I want. I have decent job, salary isn't high, but enough for me to live. As a kid, I constantly have to worry about how much homework I'm going to get (American schools are more relaxing in this regard, until college years), and that I must do well on my tests. And then, I have to ask parents for permission to buy certain things.

Overall, being an adult with a decent job is much more relaxing than being a kid with so much pressure and restrictions. Just how I feel.

I mean having money is nice and all, but I'm always too busy to ever get to use it on anything that isn't rent or food usually. My body isn't what it used to be and I have to be more careful with odd health anomalies. I don't get to hang out with friends as often as I used to and in general I'm just always tired.

I always wonder what the end goal is with a lot of this stuff. I mostly live just to get by at this point. If not for family, anime and manga I'd probably just be living everyday just because. Homework and studying was easier cuz at worst my parents would get mad or something. If I mess up at work my entire job or even livelihood is on the line. It's so much pressure. Not even saying that the money isn't nice. I like it and I can do a lot of stuff with it, but I would relinquish all my money and freedom just to get back the sense of happiness and tranquility to be alive that I lost from when I was a kid. Even when my body has rested it always feels like my "soul" is restless. Anyways, I wish I were you dude.
