This will end with everyone hugging it out isn't it? Considering opposition is just human and our girl refuses to kill or even harm even if it meant she will die in the process. And she is conditioned even more after the "woe is me" story. Stakes are non-existent.

Those usually have backers from more powerful groups or nations that have an interest in the instability.
That's also the case in this manga. Remember where they got their weapons and training from?

You may have overlooked smth: Caring for others' well-being is also a kind of hobby. See a doctor's smiling face after curing people without requiring anything in return? Can you say they are not happy with what they have done? Can you say they hate it?

Technically speaking, if anyone does anything that's purely because they want to do it, they gain nothing in return, it's because it's their hobby. Whether it is killing or saving people, it's the same category when you look at it this way. It just so happens that the will of the "selfless doctor" aligns with people, aside from that, not much difference.

Don't get me wrong, I probably like the doctor better than the killer, but from a fair point of view, they are not that much different as a person who just doing what they like.

In case you ask, I would like to give you an example: A killer will be executed or jailed in a normal society, but they could also be admired and loved as idols by many others (killer or pervert). Or that doctor could be hated for ruining other's doctor's money income.
Every coin has 2 sides, but by removing those sides, you can see it is in the end, the coin. The doctor or a killer too, essentially the same.

And yes, I do mean the serial killer, because I want to refer to someone who kills people just because they want to kill to compare with the one saving people just because they want to save them. And by the doctor, I mean the "selfless doctor".
Yeah, that's a little something we call false equivalence. You're taking two fairly unrelated and irrelevant aspects, and making the assumption that these shared aspects make the two equivalent, or "essentially the same". It'd be like saying that you're the same as Gandhi because you both need air to survive. Technically true, but completely irrelevant to any serious comparison between the two.

In this case, the false equivalence you're making is based on the fact that both do something that makes them happy but not for money. You know who else does that besides a selfless doctor and a serial killer? Everybody. And because you left the criteria so open, I do mean every living person. The person talking while sitting instead of standing because they prefer that? Same as a serial killer. The person who scratched their ass because it was itchy? Same as a serial killer. The coma patient whose body unconsciously reacted to stimuli resulting in a shifting of positions? Essentially the same as a serial killer.

Some people are calling this stupid but it makes sense.

I mean the guy saw his wife get crushed in front of his eyes. His idea isn’t logical because he’s beyond even thinking logical. His spirits crushed and he’s looking to revert that entire day from when it happened. Which he can’t do.

Hoe stay it was just depressin. I don’t see this organization as “a bunch of sad fucks”. Death and destruction will fuck with your mind

Perhaps you are getting a little off the track here. My criteria are only "hobby", I have never mentioned anything other than this, I take those examples as they seem to be total opposites but in fact possess the same feature and fit the same criteria. You are including some irrelevant things here but I trust that you get this one almost right: "Everybody is the same"(everyone here implies the majority of people), so that's what I am trying to say. Mind you, my first question is "Why admire people doing their hobby?". As you can see, whether a selfless doctor, a serial killer, or you with your own hobby and doing it on your own, have nothing worth "admiring". Because they are essentially the same, their action or words or whatever seems to be different on the surface, but in the end, it is all about serving their hobby, all doing what almost everyone does, like another copy-paste of “everyone”. Do you admire all of your classmates? Do you yearn for the life of every person you have met? It doesn't sound very logical to me

If you might ask, yes, I do admire many people. Some for their talent, some for their unique incredible story, and some because they HATE what they are doing, but they do it very very well. But in short, they stand out. I will never feel anything like admiration for a doctor just because he is selfless, I will never admire a serial killer because he kills people (which also is selfless, I guess?) , I never admire anyone or anything that's just because they doing the things everybody does, it just so unlogical. Also, just in case you might ask, I do respect my parents, but not admire them.

This dad needs to think about that sentence again. "This all happened because Opher wanted to fight Cheong." Who is the acting subject of that sentence?

How did they even get so far to become such a dangerous group? Also they’re seriously fucking stupid.
My theory rn is that the Greater Monsters are the ones that robbed the Slayer's purexclusivium weapon stash and gave it to the AED

Dude is crazy because his wife died thank to his action.

Instead of reflect on himself, he blamed the demon.

Oh wait, he blamed the hero. That's bullshit blazing.
