I get the fact that peeps dropped this because of how she easily trusted a stranger but like a comment said before, she thinks that this guy may be of help in returning to her world. Also, she is able to empathize with him (and sees him as some helpless person) since she knows how hard it must be especially since they're in the same situation (though he's just faking it). I really want to see whether he'll grow to like her (though highly unlikely). I'm pretty sure this guy is one of those short time villains that only get to do something once and get caught sooner or later.

I get why she doesn't want anything to happen to him. So far he's the only other link to her own world. But even still, keeping him close to her is a dumb move. He's still a stranger at the end of the day.

I totally get why someone would do what she did but at the same time, there's a lot of bad people in the world. I wish she exercised some more caution... towards the emperor and the people of this new world (which she already is) and towards the weird guy. Those words aren't 100% proof especially if you think about how there could be a portal out there and some actual innocent passed through instead. Can't trust anyone but yourself!

Her objective is to return home, and She thinks hes in the same boat as her. Lost and trapped in a world they dont understand. I think shes just lending him a hand so that 1. Shell have a companion from her former world. Two heads are better than one. and 2. Help him out so that he can be protected.

I dont see it as that far fetched. I wish the author hadn't told us he was evil. So that we would be better able to see it from the MC's perspective.
