i wonder who the redhead lady is. the last line (wrote it out cuz i can't stop thinking about it) --

"in any case, that child can't be so powerful for nothing. well, i suppose its because she's just like my mom"

sister? cousin? i don't think its a sister because then wouldn't she have said, "she's just like our mom" ? so... cousin? ugh so unnecessarily confusing. but cute chapter nonetheless.

So... I assume the new character is going to be her aunt and the powerful woman is Erin's grandmother. I'm sure the Duke is falling for her and Erin is already beginning to like both sides of Lex.
