the main relationship in volume 5 is actually so peak and the sociology inserts makes the plot pretty interesting since its not a topic these stories tap into often (which i think is a shame) but the story is pretty convoluted at points and some of the interactions just don’t really make sense. despite that so far the quality of everything gets better the more you read so its actually pretty good imo

All over the place. Translation, plot, the characters.
35 chapters in and the brother mentally remarks on "getting LGBT literature unbanned" being the first steps towards change. I've no clue if it's the translation or not but I wish people didn't keep lumping us together. I came to read a nice story on a couple making their way through a time where the system openly disregarded their love, not a trite attempt at spreading The Message.
