That sucks! Sounds like outright admin abuse. To think they'd ban you over that...it's ridiculous, I have seen a lot of similar-looking content on bato.to and similar sites. Hell, isn't Super Lovers there? is the only difference it being explicit lmao?? I am mad on your behalf
More so not caring.
It's one of those websites whose moderators don't actually seem to use the website any more and simply treat it as a way to make money now, which became obvious to me when talking to them that they don't know what goes on and what is normal so sometimes they get a report and they act on it. They have a rule against “child pornography” but they don't define what it is and it only applies to posting comics, not comments. I initially, like anyone else reading that rule thought that would obviously mean the legal definition of child pornography, but
Teacher Addiction actually once got banned there for that, so I talked to them and they explained they got a report and banned it but didn't closely read it and re-instated it after they found out it did not have sex scenes in it. Then I asked what exactly their definition of child pornography was, and then they said characters under 18 in explicit sex scenes. Then I pointed out that that must be 20% of the titles on their website and the way I talked to them it felt like they never realized that their website was full of stories of teenage characters having sex with each other and that they didn't really browse it, so then they, on the fly, changed their definition to explicit definitions of illegal sex acts so that it wouldn't apply to teenagers with each other, but it was really a conversation that implied they never gave their “child pornography” rule any thought before. They simply put it in there but never considered what it actually would mean. But that all applied to submissions, not to comments, comments have entirely different rules which don't include this.
In any case, I wasn't banned for
Captives of my Sister, which was within the rules as they all attend the same high school so it's fine. I was banned for a comment on that page which linked to nhentai.com, which was apparently not, but I've seen such comments there all the time, and again, the type of thing I linked to can be found on that website too, and the paradox is that they removed all my uploads, but the original comment can still be found. If they thought that comment was so problematic, perhaps they should have removed that.
It happens sometimes; I've seen it before: admins who are completely detached from their own website, have extremely vague rules and someone gets banned for things that happen all the time on the website which users think are within the rules because they see everyone do it, but the one that gets reported or happens to catch the eye of a moderator is banned and no one knows what's allowed because the rules are extremely vague.
