I guess the latter I mean if I can't exactly comprehend the story there is no point to the good type setting it would be like reading the raws no?

have come around both and the first one is way worse, no point in it looking perfect if you can't understand anything
ruins the manga way more than the text being scuffed since you can just look at the raws alongside it if you really want to fully see the art

neither, I'll just read raw
but if you are holding me at gunpoint, the latter

There are applications allowing readers to compare different versions of certain old books, usually religious ones, to see how certain passages are translated in different languages or written in different sources.
It would certainly be an experience if there was something like this for comics.

nah, only did it once for one thing and because I have 2 monitors, split screen manga reading would be one hell of a thing

ironically enough I used it on an incredibly shitty tl of a new group to get a better understanding on what was going on (rightdark who post mtl dogshit and promote their malware infested site)
