Itou Hachi's works early on are very different, but I can totally feel the vibes that are unique from said artist.

Senpai is annoying AF, and so are the other girls. Also, you are giving that money to the school. Not to the other students, you bitches. Is not like they fucking work for you, they owe you nothing. Yeah, thanks for giving money to the burocrats on the school who will spend it on giving themselves high salaries, while they neglect areas on the campus that may need repairment.

For something from Itou Hachi, this is rather meh.

I wouldnt waste time trying to rationalize the whole school hierarchy, it is how humans behave normally after all.
But the story seemed pretty shallow regarding its development, with some sudden changes, loose ends and abrupt end. I suppose being a oneshot thats often a risk, but not used to see this from Itou which is one of the best authors ive seen. Maybe was intended to be explored if serialized, but the story didnt really had the dept to do so.
Expected at least some background to be able to thrufully sympathize with Sayuri change from her awful demeanor, otherwise her harsh words still have more weight than the nice ones.
