Like she kept saying that blue/cool didn't suit her, so I kept wanting see decent sized panels showing what her face AND hair look like when her expression is sorta neutral.

For me it's the snakes. Feel like usually when a character has snakes for hair(?) the snakes are simpler than the character and at least a little keyed into the character's emotions.

So basically if character's snakes have the same expression as character I assume it's because character actually feels that way.
