Wouldn't say this is one of the worst mangas that I've read but wouldn't really say it's okay either. It started off strong, you're shown a clip of ML and FL doing it. Then, a backstory of FL getting 'dumped' by her ex-boyfriend of (I forgot how many years). Yeah, I was invested obviously. The art was superb and the story was attracting me, I wanted to know why she got dumped and iykyk. So I read attentively, but as each chapter goes, I found myself lowkey hating the ML more and more. In almost every scenario, he is putting hands on her intentionally, to seduce her. You might think that's fine, because she lowkey likes him back right? But think about it, imagine if the FL had no feelings for him whatsoever, this is literally harassment (NO WAIT, IT ALREADY IS HARASSMENT, AS SHE DID NOT EVEN CONSENT TO IT. BUT FOR SOME REASON SHE DOES NOT REPORT HIM, BECAUSE SHE KINDA LIKES HIM BACK. WHICH IS STUPID BTW. NEVER EVER ROMANTICISE HARASSMENT AS A FORM OF LOVE). Not even that, the ML forcefully kisses her during one scene just because he liked her? Have you ever heard of consent..? If you like someone, you don't put your hands or force yourself on them, that is literal pervert behaviour. I see the ratings for this manga, unexpectedly high, and I wonder to myself: When did we ever, as normal civilians against illegal crimes, normalise sexual harassment? You might argue with me that this is fiction, yeah I know that, which is why it's upsetting me more. The amount of people who romanticise this type of 'romance' is gross. Do not ever mistake harassment for feelings such as love. Not to mention, that the FL had only thought of the ML as a friend during that time of events (where he was clearly putting his hands on her) but ML chose to unacknowledge that and still pushed her boundaries because he simply 'liked her'. He didn't even wonder if the FL would be okay with him kissing her all of a sudden, he just did it because he wanted to. This is literally not love, this is sexual harassment LMAOO, letting your desires control you than prioritizing the FL's feelings is so funny. At this point just fuvk her without her consent because when you kissed her you didn't even need her consent. Just because the ML is conveniently attractive, doesn't mean his actions can be validated.
