We just had an arc with at least 3 chapters, which focused on a side character (Ayari). And now we are speedrunning main story.
In a single chapter they:
- Very quickly travelled to the place of original Jinka.
- Told us the details of how original Jinka came to be and revealed that Jinka were secretly man-made.
- Revealed that there is a traitor among Funeral Force.
- Introduced 2 new characters.
- Revealed that Makki is actually alive.
- Kayano is revealed to be Black Lily.
This pacing really stands out, especially if we compare it to chapters 8-12.
I believe it's going to get cancelled soon. Japanese volume sales were very bad, somehow, despite the art being decent and genre very popular.
