There's always the same tropes in these training arcs. The tough girl who needs no man, the dumb punk with stupid hair and a stupid face, the super serious guy with a bland quirk, the weird guy who just exists to be weird, and so on. Sure hope they all get mulched soon, since the series doesn't need these overused tropes. It's already plenty unique with its eco-unfriendly premise.
