Sounds a bit too much for drama tag, more like sexual violence & tragedy. Amount of trauma he must've gone through from being kidnapped, beaten up and raped for a small thing is wild. It's not bullying anymore, it's straight up crime.

Sadly, it does happen. I don't see it as "cartoonish bullying" but there has been people who has had abusive parents and were assaulted in both ways.
