At page 25 the 2nd Bubble, isn't it supposed to be "to be by her side" instead of "to be by his side" ? Because the MC referring to his childhood friend who's a female right?

The story and art looks promising for now. But anyway thanks for the chapter... I'm waiting for the 2nd chapter ^^

Why would they even let someone who can't use magic at all into a magic academy? Was there no entrance exam where the student-to-be could demonstrate that they could use even the simplest of magic?
