This art style and plot line looks unfortunately very similar to several other “tragedy porn with yuri subtext” type stories, I can only hope this one will be different.

I was going to put this in the tl/n of one of the coming up chapters, but yes it would appear so. I haven't found an official statement (though I wasn't looking that hard). There's one paperback out with ch1-4, so I guess my hope is that 3 paperbacks worth of content is enough for a story? I haven't read ahead but yeah...
