I love the message here: learning in a more effective way
you see, coco here is portrayed as someone who wants to be good, but when it comes to real studying, she gives up quickly. It kinda depicts many people in real life
but out prof qirey have an idea to fix her way of study
the first and foremost, qifrey needs to ease her mind that is already muddled by studying with one easy step. just stop studying and take a break!
then, qifrey starts showing her all magic stuff that incites her love of magic once again, without having her to think about how hard it is to study one.
as they started their break activities, not under any pretense of studies, qifrey ask her to help him to do a simple task yet it is actually a perfect way for coco to study.
it is perfect for her because:
1. it has a clear goal: to bake the potato well
2. it has a reward: the baked potato itself
3. it has a clear result: the potato will look and smell good
given that, coco then can focus on what she actually need to learn: to draw those magics! she doesn't have to bother so much time thinking vague stuff as previously shown which tire her out.
well, this isn't anything new, but I just love how all of this is represented here in this chapter that I had to write a piece of my mind here. please don't mind me much heh
