I propose that we call Gheer Gheerster from now on.
On a more serious note, though, seeing the guy your mom died for and who ruined your life being married again immediately as if nothing has happened... Gheer has to be feeling so angry and hollow right now.
A lot of people are really negative about these Gheer flashbacks, but I think they're important. The could be inserted better and much shorter, true, but Gheer is an important character with interesting things going on. He embodies this manga's themes of trust and family; he also has plenty of room for character growth. I find his backstory interesting: how did he change, and more importantly, why?
