I seriously love how phantasmagoric and disconcerting this arc has been. Worlds of slightly-off memories, traumatic moments playing out over and over again, warped spaces that really do not make sense... Hakuri has written an arc in which the enemy is frighteningly internal to our protagonists on a certain level, and attempting to follow this psychology through Miramira and Cathié's thought-betraying facial expressions creates more tension and dread than seeing any amount of billowing dust or scratches on skin ever can.
Speaking of which, one thing this arc has been bringing to the forefront is that magic can be mind-bendingly terrifying. We first saw Tania's bubble magic kill a bunch of Bureau mooks before they could react, then went straight into mirage and memory magic territory. I wonder if magic will somehow continue escalating in the direction of horror.
Miramira is getting some character development. Next chapter should be awesome.
