This is a very minor gripe, but I never like it when there's a very obvious impediment to the relationship, but the impeded party brushes it off like it's nothing. It may just be me, but I feel like it's far more meaningful to say something like, "Yes, it is tiring, but that's part of the fun" or "- but I'm willing to keep trying" than "Nah, it doesn't bother me." The latter just feels kinda performative.

Just because something is challenging doesn't mean its tiring. He finds her quirks and hangups fascinating and engaging. He's not tired of them in the slightest and doesn't seem to be frustrated by her behavior, beyond when she's gotten too physical with him
