Why do I have a feeling that the maid almost figured out who the shadow entity behind the Manager is but then conveniently forgotten.
Right after she thought about that light entity, she was about to remember something else and stated that she needs to research more.
Inky might be some kind of a god of oblivion or a Secretive Plotter.
May even be Cid Kagenou playing around in another world at this point, as both him and this MC have a lot of common tastes.

If you remember, at some point MC learns about the "shadows" that the night witch sealed "outside", and when MC insulted them, Blackie got angry.
