Might be fair to call this a feminist piece? "The Wolf" (represented as a man) seems like he could also represent sexual depredation, and Laura killing him and choosing a life for herself is overcoming that.
Found this by accident, glad i did, this is pure symbolism so the interpretation can depend on who see it,but in general you can say is in most part about over come your problems, fear, depredador, trauma,or whatever, very good.
