@moozooh : Apparently. I guess she said "kane" (かね) which can mean both money (金) or bell (鉦 or 鐘 ).
At least if I trust romajidesu.com, which never betrayed me til this day ^^

Kyuu-chan Wallpaper #1:

I really like this series. It's quite wonderful. That's why I'm excited to hear that it's getting official English volumes, as announced by Seven Seas Entertainment, on 8/28/2020. As a way of saying thanks to Kurisu and the rest of her scanslation team, I'll be making wallpapers of each set of hundred chapters of this series. Expect them to be posted at each "100" mark, (i.e. Ch. 200, Ch. 300, Ch. 400, etc.). I realized that I should be doing these wallpapers per volume, rather than per hundred. So now, expect my posts to be at the end of each volume.

My favorite arc in this set of hundred was the Bento arc (Ch. 68-83). Very adventurous. My overall favorite chapter, however, is Ch. 30: The Sun. I feel at peace when reading it. My favorite Kyuu-face is the one in Ch. 43: Button. Kyuu looked so shocked!
