I always see this angry sentiment from everyone who tries to use manga MCs as a versatile self-insert for escapism and power fantasy. It's a little sad.
He has some fondness and trust in her. He's a newbie in this world, and knows very little. He has people who act as advisors, and she can be considered one of them. She's working for the good of Gazetta, and he also wants Gazetta to prosper - partly because he wants ALL the people to prosper and unite in harmony, it's also the country of his friend. He's not a mindless child just because he goes along with people who have similar goals to him but need his support. What he's doing helps him, and from his facial expressions and questions seems like he's wary of being pushed into a trap that'll hurt him or his goals.
So give it a rest. Let the man handle his business. He doesn't have to be some macho Rambo man flinging around edgy ass lines and chuuni-mode rebellion, or murder anyone who wants his help but refuses to kiss his ass. He's not a king. Despite the moniker, he's not even a god. He's a dude with unique abilities and an approachable atmosphere, with a decent head on his shoulders. If going along with Lolibaba there helps prevent a civil war and unnecessary bloodshed, then how is that a bad thing so long as it doesn't harm the other nations or himself/his friends? No different from taking a quest from an NPC. Chill, not every manga/manhua MC needs to be a selfish, self-centered, imperious, arrogant, stupid asshole. They can be kind and careful, too.
