Part of me feels like Mizukami does a little bit too much worldbuilding for his own good in this manga, but I'll still eat it all up like a ravenous animal.

I think Mizukami's one of the very few shounen authors who bother with worldbuilding. Everyone else just goes straight in mindless action or fanservice.

The story telling is so good, oh my goodness...

Like it went from journey -> panic attack -> backstory for the character -> journey where progress is made, then backstory to character development. It went a bit non-linear but it keeps you following a line of thought that gives you something at the end of the chapter while still making progress with the story. So good...
