Thanks for the translations!
I must have forgotten a whole lot of stuff to see the wolf boy being this distressed.

And I get that the MC wants to get the guy to follow his own path instead of being chained to the vow. But being an ass till the end, and not even giving him the green light to go ahead and part ways is abit odd.

But hey it should pan out to something right?

Well, if he outright gave him the go ahead, then he wouldn't be thinking for himself, and would be following him all the same,
This is about Reus being independent IMO.

I see your point. But I thought the minute he decided to go against them after the MC said they are leaving his friend to fend for himself. The MC would tell him that he is free to do so or something in that tone.
So he can go without feeling guilty about breaking the vow.

I can see your point as well.

Rather than making him go through the hoops of antagonizing himself, I'd prefer a more direct approach. "You may keep your vow and follow me, but you will leave Alberio (and Marina) behind; or you can go and help Alberio, but your vow will be void. What will you choose?" It delivers the message of consequences, compromise, and teaches the sense of responsibility better.

Whether Sirius going to keep his word about that vow or treating it as a test (a tease?) for Reus, that's a matter after this is all done.

Yeeaaah, I'm not sure if "letting him go" by making him jump into battle as a guilt-ridden mess is a wise decision for the oh so great teacher to make. "Little" stuff like that can be difference between life and death.
It's fine, he has plot armor.

This is exactly the kind of lesson Reus needed, but this felt annoyingly scripted. Within the same chapter Sirius was both thinking he needs to do something about Reus being so dependent on him and then the whole monster horde assault is happening, plus Marina appearing to beg Reus to help her. It all clicks together too quickly and perfectly. At least Fia taking the hint and playing along was a tiny bright spot in this otherwise too forceful and convenient plot development.

Gosh this chapter was so overdramatic as fuck. Seriously- if you need to do something you do something like you always did instead of screaming like a little brat. Every situation till now, no matter what, was just done using MCs brain but now for SOME reason he's like "nope". All he should do is divide the tasks and send everyone where they need to go and that's it. Each of them would be able to handle themselves on their own.

Of course. But that is not the point. The point is that the mc, which has been lauded as one of the greatest teachers from the start, thought this approach was the correct one. Yet, in-story, he should've known morale is an important factor in these things and that this specific approach at this specific time is like a kick in the nuts for the kid and could hamper him in battle. You know the saying, "less useless thoughts means less bullets in your head" or something like that.

Page 21 should say "He is alone/by himself right now" rather than "He is a person now".

Now the party has officially become Sirius and his harem. No more need to maintain decency.
