It's crazy how Jump considering they're a manga corpo that pushes their authors to squeeze new chapters every other week to let WT author to do it at their own pace. I sincerely hope that's the case since author is actually good at it even giving most side characters their own development.

It's probably because WT isn't serialized in WSJ anymore. Jump SQ is monthly so the deadlines aren't as crazy. Considering that WT is fairly popular in Japan, they probably don't want to push Ashihara-sensei too much because that will just backfire on them if his health deteriorates again.

I really like it when the author just gets to update whenever, it makes for a nice surprise when you see an update knowing the quality is going to be consistent
