"THE INTRO"
SO. In my younger days, I hated music. Lo and Behold one day I discover the wonderful thing that is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and suddenly I've listened to a bigger variety of music than most I live beside. Moreover I discovered the power music has while writing. A good song can set a mood that helps with certain subject matters, dialogue, and action. Something like the "Ecstasy of Gold" can help with writing the climactic end of a struggle for example. "Fleeting Lullaby" by Ado can help with a rather chaotic struggle or confrontation too. "Here Comes the Rain Again" -By Eurythmics helped with a recent chapter of mine that was incredibly gloomy. That sorta thing.
So, tonight I've finished a monster of a chapter: 30 pages. I didn't think I was going to, been dealing with a weird amount of neck-related discomfort and I am tired as heck. ANYHOW, The chapter needs an Anthem of sorts. I know, I know. "But, you've already finished it!" or "What's wrong with you! Making a playlist for a story that isn't finished" Yes, yes, but this'll be fun. Anyways, I was thinking "Push" by Dio was fitting, but I tried listening to it during and it didn't give the right mood here.

"THE CHAPTER(S) TO ANTHEM"
So here's a rundown for reference: This chapter sort of serves as the finale of an arc for several characters of the three big perspectives in the story right now. The Central Character is trying to reunite with one of his friends down in a mine so through the work that day, and a trial he must prove himself to the Daemonic masters that he should go into the mines. That means he has to be subservient, follow orders to the letter and complete the trial with flying colors.Meanwhile, another character, who's been the pet of the Daemon-Lord of the Slave Camp they're all in has managed to become more than just a pet (Like a mother really) and has been able to be a sort of confidant of the daemon in a short time (A suggestion of the Daemon's past). She must convince him subtly to let the Central Character get into the mines. This goes on for a bit, and She succeeds in convincing, and the central character passes the trial with minimal injuries.
But, throughout the chapter a rather deranged individual has been trying to take someone from the central character. And of course, right when the central character is finally happy, finally achieving something, he finds that someone, dead, being fought over by the deranged man and someone else. Our central character cracks inevitably and takes down both men.
I know, quite the drastic cliffhanger.
SO, What do you think? The music can be from just about anywhere, but so far this story's utilized music from the 70s and early 90s at most.
Hmm, I haven't checked more of King Crimson in a good while...
What? Still feels pointless? Alright, tomorrow I'm starting the next big chapter, this song you suggest will help set the mood for the writing:
So we've got three characters. One: an exhausted Paladin has to take down three warriors and an undead wizard and run a mile through dark tunnels to find a crack to a cellar he needs to bash open for his friends.
The Second is a Wizard who's been tortured and imprisoned with the Paladin who's plan is to accept the main enemy's offer and try and help him. He'll suggest an enchantment that can restore the enemy's master to it's body, but in reality, he's going to enchant the body of the master (which is pretty much indestructible and semi-sentient, just devoid of a soul) to go ballistic and attack everyone.
MEANWHILE Our third character, a boy-prince who was taken away from the Wizard and Paladin to be prepared for the enemy's scheme that'll furtherly enthrall his people must find a way out of where he's trapped while under heavy guard.
A lot of things can go wrong, but ultimately they're getting out of there and making a fool of all their enemies.
There ya go, I'll likely find something in a minute either way, but I haven't posted about anything I write in a while.
I've been really pessimistic lately, but this first quarter of the year I've tackled University Classes with As, started taking care of my health, and have been writing the biggest batch of chapters I've done since this specific story began. A post like this is deserved I think. Two more chapters to go, time to start having a bit of fun.
