I like how MC thinks. Oh she tried to kill me because I didn't buy a sword from her. Oh well, I survived because I am strong so I will do anything in my power to help her.
Stupidity in cultivation stories makes me hard not to rate them lower than 5.

@KamiKira00 did we read the same chapter he only decided to help her because she brought a sword that he wants with her
and she knew he wouldnt help her if she didnt bring something that he would consider worth while to help someone he had a low opinion of for
the both were actually reasonably smart here the others were just mooks being mooks though

@Syanalassa I agree that it may look that way but MC never said that he wants sword as payment and he didn't ask anything for attempted murder. So basically he could get money or something as apology from her and then sword as a payment. Now, as I understood, he hopes that she realizes herself that MC wants sword and hopes that she will suddenly change her character (given how everyone, including her, acted it is obvious that she would say something like "You disrespected me by not buying my sword, so this job was your way of making an apology") and give that sword to her.

So yeah, this is my reasoning for that comment.

@KamiKira00 He really couldn't get anything like an apology from her. Given the difference in status, she can treat people lower than her like dirt with little to no blow back. The mc seems very knowledgeable of how the world works and isn't letting a small matter like that prevent him from future gains. Future gains like acquiring that sword.
