I thought the Sin Lord was going to look different, since it's been forever since they showed it, but no, it's still just a giant octopus. This Chapter adapts Volume 12 Chapter 21-22 of the Web Novel, By the way the conversation between Bai Ji & Sin Lord is kinda shorten abit with the 2 mostly engaging in fights and using their abilities spamming them like battle of gods the conversation was so different since Sin Lord is a much more powerful & big being compare to Bai Ji. Elder Nim comment about Bai Ji vs Sin Lord takes place after the conversation between Bai Ji & Sin Lord not Before

I'm pretty sure she's a deer, not wolf, her brother even has antlers. And just for curiosity, I checked the RAW and her name is indeed 迪玲 (Dí líng)

Are you talking the High Priest guy who pretended to be Yana’s Father? Since that guy was the main big bad before Bird Mask Priest appeared as the head figure of the Ancestral Cult. After Bai Ji killed Ziling and use her devourer abilities for the first time against him using some hat ability

There was someone with a beard who was the bad guy before Bird Mask. He hasn’t made appearance in awhile but they are from the same team, oh I just notice what chapter you linked to, if your talking about the guy next to Bird Mask, he died he was killed by Bai Ji in the chapter after

Just reread the chapter, He indeed survived also yes, he also disappeared too including all the major minions of the Sin Lord, it like the Author forgot about them even Web Novel never mentioned them again to the point I forgot they existed

Yeah I don't understand why the author said that he survived just to never use him or them again. It would've been better to just have Bai Ji actually kill him in that fight. I also don't even think Bai Ji ever used the card she got from that fight either.

Yeah the Dark Gulan entrusted the Powang and fighting the Octopus Sin Lord to Ji Bai. But now it’s up to Bai Ji to save Balande. Since Bai Ji can use the Powang sword, I wonder if Bai Ji will be able use the Yuehuang sword? I remember reading it in the novel.

I like that we are finally see her challenging someone above her. she's been punched around by those above her way to much, i hope this time will be different.
