There are two issues with this arrangement:

1. Somebody cucked Seiichirou by impregnating THE Hasshakusama before he had the chance
2. It'd be very awkward for Yachiru to introduce Seiichirou to his potential in-law, because her mother is the real deal who on a conceptual level is a better and fuller version of what Seiichirou fell in love with

I kinda think he'll be fine with it. From what I remember, Seichiro's core problem is that he's always taller than most people, so what he truly seeks is someone taller than him. And it just so happens that he discovered about Hasshaku-sama, who is a mythically really tall, large, hot woman, so of course he's be attracted to her.

But her still being half Hasshaku-sama totally helps with attracting him, I think just her being really tall is enough initial pull anyway. After that is just personality-matching.

I remember there was the manga "Neko musume" where there is a half human half snow woman, where in one chapter she (superficially) sadly talked about being careful about the union of the two worlds, but didn't go anywhere.

Also, HALF-BREED? Did she really refer to herself as such? Oh come on. If you are going to do that, at least do so in some sort of self deprecating humor of some sorts

After reading this chapter, I feel like a dumbass. Like ofc it comes from her mother's side, what did i expect?

Also, we didn't see her dad's photo. Imagine if that photo is actually when he was a child...did he die young?

I thought it was her dad ghost, I was quickly reminded of that manga about girl who can see ghosts, I was like "holy shit going dark"
but yeah, that panel kinda horror, like, scene of "bad marriage"


btw, she and her uncle kinda share the same style of eyes and bangs, don't they?

my guess is that when she grows the yokai part starts becoming more present in thoughts and actions and after shrinking down she has to gather herself back up mentally. maybe half of her "training" will be keeping herself in check when big after she reveals she isn't that way all the time due to being mixed?

Could be, but right now I believe that 1) the author decided to change her origin or 2) decided to explain her weird behaviour with her childhood, being born from a human and youkai she didn't had a normal one, possibly hidden from other people, is even possible her mother being a full youkai gave her a weird instruction, the way she interacts with others points at her not being used to people.
