Sayaka was always at a disadvantage because Touko never full opened up to her which we saw during the earlier play arc. Touko not only fell for Yuu on first sight but also has a more open relationship with her as expected between soulmates.

I don't like love triangles but these grounded depictions make them more tolerable.

My God. It's just so interesting because there's the doubt in Sayaka's mind that she blundered her chance with Touko, but at the same time would Touko have accepted Sayaka's confession before meeting Yuu. Yuu just has been so important in Touko's development and she even made Sayaka realize things about Touko's flaws and vulnerabilities that pushed her to confess. I wanna cry .
