It feels like the way the central romance starts is pretty emotionally unhealthy, though. I'm hoping that's the point of this story, and the two characters address this in their development. But I'm not getting that vibe.

While I wouldn’t say Bloom Into You is in my favorites, it was a pleasant read. Glad I finally read one of the highly recommended yuri works!

Absolutely PEAK.

One of my favorite aspects is how the story effectively utilizes background characters as well. They help move the plot along, but they don’t suffocate the story either.

I also enjoyed the inclusion of male characters, despite the story being Yuri. There was a healthy balance that I really enjoyed.

Easily one of the best Yuri’s I’ve read in a long time.

AROACE REP IN A MANGA LET'S FUCKING GO! Seriously though at first Yuu gave aro vibes but since she was a main character in a romance I thought the author was just taking the "if people don't fall in love they just haven't found the right person yet" stance, which is to be expected from a manga but still disappointing. Then Maki the GOAT shows up, AND SERVES A FOIL CHARACTER TO YUU! MY ACE REP STARVED, OVERANALYTICAL BRAIN SHORT CIRCUITED FROM PURE HYPE. Unfortunately, this manga is not a comedy so I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. The writing is fire, the art is fire, in terms of actual merit as a manga it's a 10/10, enjoyment was like a 7.5/10.
