Literally just a casual drop of wagyu beef in there. If you know anything about steaks, Japan, etc, you knew EXACTLY what it was just by the marbling of the fat when it was first shown. No need for introductions to one of the best known and expensive cuts. Really smart of her to use the fat still in the pan to further add taste to the rice.

Must be the author's bias, I guess. Steak donburi is a thing, and even if you just sear the steak without any sauce or whatever it still taste good with rice.
