Thanks for the chapter. So I just read this today and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's mostly generic, but has a small twist at least and I liked that it wasn't afraid to spend time alone with the MC for a while before putting him with the twins.

Honestly considering the length some series get to, doing manga for it either become a lifelong project or a massive project with multiple artists (Bookworm) so I can understand why company might only do promo release (it also leave the door open for anime adaptation to still get people interested for further story bits)

Actually out of curiosity I went to check the RAW site, it says 'next update 2023/07/06' (that's July 6th) :v so not sure if they decide to resume the manga or that update date is a lie.

I went and looked at the raws and the last page of chapter 14 says おわり, which means "The End". The date you saw is the release on Comic Walker, which is basically a re-seller; the first run ended already.
The novel ended last month (May), for the curious.

The last chapter on comic walker IS that ch 14 though, unless the next update date means they're removing ch 14 from being free to read.

So I checked several RAW sources, and it really is as presented here. It sure does just imply a full party wipe of that other party, and that they safely finished it off. Weird, but okay.

EDIT: took the WN to MTL to see how it goes, and even it implies too. Basically the other party interrupts, gets hit my paralyze gas, and then get showered by acid, chapter ends. And then the next chapter moves onto the after action loot/levels. So the weirdness is just how it was written, huh.
