Without the Moon stabilizing the Earth's tilt, there is a possibility that the Earth's tilt could vary greatly. It would transition from having no tilt (resulting in no seasons) to a significant tilt (leading to extreme weather and even ice ages).¹

Basically, even the demons would be doomed. However, it seems they are dumb and only see what they want to see.

Also the demonic beings are often drawn as some messy blob of meat-ish shape, so when they're on a meeting, I can barely recognized some of them

Yes, it deserve an anime, because as a manga the battle scenes are somehow limited since the author style is more suitable for static scenery then all out action.
