@Rozzak Yup, I agree with you. It seems to me the aide is controlling Carlo with some kind of magic. Thus, I'm getting kinda confused when reading other commenters saying this is their plan to fight the aide.
@vannn I wouldn't be reading it if it were not for that and the art. A shame that the author had to make the MC a pretentious Mary Sue that automagically waves all major conflicts away.
Can somenone help me.
Being a non native speaker I don't understand why they are all surprise the last dialogue.
Can you explain it to me with other word?
The whole intention of the assembly was for Carlo to defeat Emil Junkers in court. But instead of doing that, he changes his mind and blames Ryuu for all of the crimes to help Emil instead. Nobody expected him to backstab Ryuu.
@Aeremis Carlo went from condemning the antagonist to suddenly claiming that the protagonist is to blame for all the crime in the city. He's clearly being controlled by the antagonist.
@Aeremis Ryuu is the name our lady yakuza is going by here.
meaning it was all a ploy. she is being betrayed.
or that junk guy has the ability to posses people which makes it possible to make false testimonies from both sides. so unless there is pure physical evident which cant be denied or fabricated. they will lose the court.
