Ahhhhh that makes a lot of sense about the title- one of those phrases I see people handle localizing some interesting different ways. And also 'interesting' ways. I also appreciate the work showing the label of the sausage array, now it's clear she even went for some flavor variations.

Here in the US, "Vienna sausage" is unfortunately the name for some (kinda gross) little uncased hotdog-esque processed meat cylinders that are packed in water in a can. Probably would mortify any Austrians.

And yes, that's how the vienna sausages from the can that I know as well... But in Japan, its apparently using sheep casing, and they are snappy.

never had 'vienna' sausage but i like sausages in general

wonder how salty they'd be, i do like chinese sausage but those are a bit greasy/have to pat them down with a towel before adding them to rice or bread

i'd be tempted to pick the flowers and like press them in a book/preserve them but i imagine it's not allowed/frowned upon to pluck flowers or something like that (did see a series where someone went to a mountainous area to harvest like ginseng but that's diff lol)

lol food jealousy. surprised they didn't bring their own. tho i'd also half expect (unless it's hard to do/get permits etc) for someone to run some kinda food stall halfway up or so as snacks
