The eat and walk only applies to certain food items though! I hope I won't confuse people with that LOL

In Kamakura, imo it's to keep the traffic flowing because it can be narrow. Same goes for Kawagoe, it's fine to walk and eat the sweet potato chips but not the other stuff.

Wah, what a cute meet up.... it'd be fun if she managed to go out hiking with her work friend on purpose. Temples and good hiking trails probably tend to be close a lot....
