I could not have remained as calm as her, but Akane did well as an adult dealing with a child that by then knew she had done something seriously bad. The important part is where the guys indicate to her how serious it is. In that situation Akane can afford to be softer on her, and leave the lecture to Eita as a person closer to her. And crucially she doesn't say anything to actually diminish the coming lecture.

MC is the adult one in this situation and Runa is probably what 15/16? The mental age can really be seen between the two.
What she did was pretty scary but Runa now knows that what she did is wrong and is honestly remorseful.
I'm amazed though that Akane is pretty calm. I'd still have been so creeped out by that other guy.

Everyone be roasting her and Yes I agree what she did was totally wrong, but she’s clearly got interpersonal issues greater than the likes of Sagiri. Girls probably like 12, and a shut in or just isolated. She probs just doesn’t want to lose what little she has left. In this situation, it doesn’t help anyone for everyone to be angry. She knew that Runa was gonna get scolded anyway, so she did the right thing imo.
